Ever wondered - how can you measure a podcast campaign?
Well in this 5-minute episode, I break down 5 different ways you can track and measure a podcast marketing campaign. My favorite having a question on your signup page that asks “how did you hear about us?” and leaving the box open or having podcasts as one of the selections. See the blog post here.

A stupidly simple strategy to scale SEO, Brand & Leads with podcasts
From my pal and SEO pro, Sam Dunning
>> Step 1 - Visit a podcast website called chartable and click on 'charts'
>> Step 2 - Select Apple (market share for listeners) and your target country
>> Step 3 - Choose your focus niche e.g. I'd choose 'marketing'
>> Step 4 - Review the top 100 podcasts in the category
>> Step 5 - Check the ones that accept guests
>> Step 6 - Send the host a painfully short LinkedIn personalized connect request.
“Lisa, enjoyed ep107 where you shared [info]. Have a few ideas to share [relevant unusual topic] w/ your listeners and boost your show audience via my network. Against a convo?”
Do a few each day.
>> Step 7 - Go on the podcast as a guest and share actionable tips for the audience and plug your co at end (I recommend sharing problem you fix and who for + CTA)
>> Step 8 - Ask the host to backlink to your site on the episode article page after podcast goes live
>> Step 9 - Repeat.
If you do a couple of these a month, you can get some decent backlinks, inbound leads (from listeners) and build you/your orgs brand.

Today we’re packing as we’ll be heading back to Texas for the holidays. I haven’t been home in 18 months and for my kids it’s been longer. So, really excited to see the family and eat some delicious Tex-Mex! Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing pics in my update next week 🌮
Have a great weekend!
