Hi All!
Here is your weekly dose of the Innovators Can Laugh newsletter, a summary of things I’m working on and my latest guest. If you enjoy it, please feel free to forward this along to friends.
Some cool stuff:
My colleague Casey shared some of the tactics and strategies we implemented to grow our partner channel at Bonjoro on this post.
I recently read the memoir Shoe Dog by Phil Knight - founder of Nike. I think he’s a brilliant asshole, and it’s worth a read. See my 3 takeaways here.
Saturday night dinner and drinks without the kids. Whaaat!? Yep, got to hit the old town and had dinner at the newly renovated Marmorosh Hotel. The food was okay, but the bar inside the vault was cool. 👍
If you like the My First Million podcast (one of my top 3 fav podcasts), you like Sean Edrington’s weekly write-up of the show. You can access it here.
Funniest tweet I saw this past week:
Most popular recent podcast clip is Yannik Veys from Hypefury. Yannik, who created the Uber for service professionals in the Netherlands, explains what they were up against. See clip here - don’t forget to subscribe!
Finally, in a previous interview, I had the chance to chat with with Andrius Rimkunas. Andrius is co-founder and Business Developer at Monimoto - a super easy to use anti-theft GPS tracker for motorcycles. Andrius entrepreneurial journey is quite remarkable as he has a background in IT, radio, marketing, and project management. He describes himself as a bit of a crazy person (and after you hear some of his entrepreneurial pursuits, you’ll understand why).
If you’re interested in hearing a story about an entrepreneur who hit rock bottom, only to rise up again, then this is an episode for you. Listen here.
Until next time - thank you for reading and feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions for the show.
