Still anyone’s game
I’m 7 months in to growing my biz
- Month 1 – all about getting feedback from other podcasters regarding the idea of aggregating our podcast ad inventory
(MVP landing page created on my podcast website with google form)
- Month 2 – began sharing what I was up to on LinkedIn and writing content about why other brands like HubSpot are leveraging podcasts to reach new audiences
(we got our first client 👊)
- Month 3 – began reaching out to my network asking if they knew any SaaS marketers who were responsible for generating leads
(continued recruiting reputable b2b podcasters)
- Month 4 – launched B2BPodPros website and gained two new clients
(focused on delivering amazing service, first client renewed for a 6-month campaign 👊)
- Month 5 – created free resources like the remarkable sponsorship checklist and the how to get booked on podcasts playbook
(can get both free on my site)
- Month 6 – documented my processes for podcaster onboarding, lead-deals, and campaign management.
(began using new CRM to streamline workflow)
💥 Month 7 – BIG MONTH – first video case study and client testimonials added to site
(can see how we are generating quality leads for a SaaS brand)
- Month 8 – began creating video content around topics that are being searched the most and getting the most engagement
📺 (launched YouTube channel today)
I still have a lot to learn, and this may not even be a successful business, but the fact that all clients so far have enjoyed working with me and are even willing to hop on a call with potential clients to share their experience means a lot.
So, I will keep on going forward 💪
The end
My new B2B PodPros YouTube channel has launched! 🥳
