IF you are thinking about sponsoring a podcast…
These are the 3 types of podcasters you might want to reconsider IF you are thinking about sponsoring a podcast.
1/ Won’t Share Download Numbers
If a podcaster won’t provide monthly download stats, it’s a red flag. Don’t trust vague claims like “1,000s of listeners.”
2/ Against Measurement
Some podcasters refuse to use UTM links or vanity URLs, making it impossible to track ad performance. Without data, it’s hard to prove ROI—something every smart marketer values.
3/ Sees YouTube as ‘Extra’
YouTube is the top platform for podcast consumption, not an add-on. Ads in video episodes should be part of the core campaign, not a bonus.

The End
This week I am staying at a friends place in Brasov for a few days with the kids since they are out of school this week. Having a flexible schedule is absolutely the one great thing about running your own business. Days were spent hiking in the woods, trampoline jumping, indoor rock climbing, Taco-goat-pizza, and deep work from 5:30 - 8:00am.
And today we’re going to our first ever Bucharest-Halloween party! So excited to take the kiddos trick or treating so I can get raid their candy 😆
Have a great Halloween!
